2007 silverado 4.8 NBS, engine power decreased

I just purchased a U7194 for my 2007 Silverado NBS 4.8. I entered the "Diablo Tune" and I get a "Engine Power Decreased" message on my dash and my truck won't start. I removed the Onstar, stereo and amp fuses. I am able to restore foctory tune and it will start. Any Ideas...?

Try it without removing the fuses. Do you know what tune revision you have?. It would appear on the boot up screen.

have heard of this happening a couple other times... install the diablo tune, cycle the key as instructed... turn the key totally off, unplug the predator... then start the truck...

if you get the message again, turn it off, disconnect the negative battery cable for about 5 minutes... reconnect, and start 'er up...

should be good to go!

I think it is 8r09, I'm @ work now and can't check it. I tried it without removing the fuses, same result. Tried the 87 octane tune, same again.
Monte, are you saying install the tune and then disconnect/reconnect the battery and I'll have the tune? Is this something I'll have to do everytime I change tunes? Sounds like a pain in the butt!!

This will happen when you install the tune, not the "truck won't start" part. That message is normal and you are not in that mode.

OK.I have U7194 v9r03 . I tried again, Predator tune & 87 Octane tune. I get the "Engine Power is Decreased" message and my truck won't start. I disconnected the negative battery post and waited 10 minutes, hooked it back up and still no start. Reinstall factory tune and it starts and runs normal. WHAT NOW!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2007 2500 hd// u7194 9ro3,, my truck does the same thing since the dealer updated my software in my vehicle. predator tells me update needed. i been waitin for about two weeks for the people from diablo to come out with the update they said i needed.. they said 3 weeks max but who knows. ..
