DO YOU THINK DIABLO COULD MAKE ME A TUNE TO RUN ANY BETTER THAN THE TUNE I HAVE COME UP WITH. IT'S ALL ABOUT E.T. FOR ME. I RUN EXTREMELY WELL WITH MY MUSTANG. BUT I'M ALWAYS LOOKING FOR BETTER.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK RODNEY MOORE
Thanks, we appreciate your efforts as well.
As for improving on your tune, I'd hate to even mess with it.
Considering the gains you have already seen from your own tuning, I dont think there is much at all left on the table, as nothing will beat tuning and datalogging at the track when seeking optimal ETs.

I tried to PM you back but it would not work for some reason. Custom tunes are $125. I will need your original backup with the e-mail.

I was logging on to see if anyone had the MMR CAI... Mark, please let me know what you think of the CAI once the new tune is set. I hear good things about that CAI and the price is very reasonable.

Thanks!

I can tell you that the CAI from MMR is BIG and doesn't fit exactly like it should...I do have a tb spacer too. I just need to get a tune for it... I should be able to get one soon, I hope...

I can say, as far as gas mileage, even with it not tuned right, is improved nicely compared to stock. I actually can get between 23-26 highway and 19-21 city. The most average I get is around 17mpg, as I have a heavy foot...

mikel wrote:Well, the MMR intake is not one that we have tunes for, so either try one of the CAI tunes already in the tool and see how they run, or you will need either a custom tune for that intake or use a different intake that is supported.
Maybe I am over looking it or something, but there are pre-loaded tunes for certain CAIs??? I do not see any...am I looking in the wrong place???

All the 05+ Mustang tools have CAI tunes, what revision is yours?

I was not up-to-date on the revision. I updated it and installed the Airaid tune and I will let you know how it works. If that tune doesn't work, do you recommend trying another one? Which if so?

this is my update:
I updated my tuner and installed the AirAid tune...the car started (First Start) fine after the tune was installed, but after that, the car would start hard and stall, obvious that the tune was not going to work... I have to use the car on the weekends so I tried the Steeda CAI tune and so far nothing is wrong...the tune works great, except for the shift shock and the delay in first gear. The computer is showing no errors as the check light has stayed off. I drive the car VERY easily as this tune doesn't really seem to fit 100%, but it is better than what I had before, as far as I know.

Again, I have a MMR CAI, throttle body space from MMR, Bassani X-pipes and Cat-backs....

Any suggestions to what I should do???

Yes, I suggest you get a tune for the MMR intake, or get an intake that is supported, or it will never be right.
