2000 dodge ram 2500 diesel fried motor
I bought the diablosport powerpuck summer of last year and installed it just fine in my 2000 dodge ram 2500 diesel 24v truck. It ran great for a week in a half. I didnt really get on it or rough it any. I heard a pop under the hood while travelling long distance. Shortly after for a few days in blow grey and white smoke and ran rough. I unstalled the puck with no change. I took it to a diesel mechanic and he explained to me that the fuel pump and injectors were shot. After he replaced them, he noticed that it still wasnt right and got into the motor. He said the pistons and rings were fried. I had to spend 7 grand on another motor and havent re installed the power puck. My question is, was it the power puck that fired my motor and why and if It wasnt, can I re install without worry of it destroying this motor? Thank you for your time.

I would re-install it. It doesn't take the injectors nor the engine beyond the factory operating parameters.
