There Tow-65-80hp tunes have one particular transmission file. The extreme file has another with some more shift firmness.rosstrans wrote:I understand the warranty issue. I really would like to know what experience people have had with the tuner. I am curious about the transmission strategy that is used. I have had other tuners in my last truck (06 F-350 6.0l) and some tuners worked better than others as far as transmission shifting. Also, I am wondering about possible premature plugging of the DPF. Any thoughts on that?

I have been busy fixing problems like for your truck. Believe me if i dont post for a couple days. Its not because i am ignoring you, its because i am very busy doing R&D work here in house. Lately we have been slammed with work to do.Excursionist wrote:Cole, It is refreshing to see you post. You are obviously well trained. Makes me feel that at some point we may get some issues resolved.

Well, I have been using a superchip flashpaq up until I ordered the predator 2 days ago and It gives 114 horsepower and my truck blows smoke with that programmer. I guess different programmers do diffeent things.
