There Tow-65-80hp tunes have one particular transmission file. The extreme file has another with some more shift firmness.

Which tunes tend to get the best MPG? Majority of my driving is commuting with occasional towing.

I just did one. 08 f450 tow truck. Reporting 7mpg before and now 11.5 and this is on the extreme tune. Gonna put it back on the smaller one and should get some more out of it.

says 160 hp.. haven't had it on a dyno yet. And no smoke

Your particular filter catches all of the soot. So you do not see smoke.

Well, I have been using a superchip flashpaq up until I ordered the predator 2 days ago and It gives 114 horsepower and my truck blows smoke with that programmer. I guess different programmers do diffeent things.

Just bought a new '08 f450 dually, 4.30 gears and automatic. I had great success with th predator in my '07 6.0. Any ideas on what kind of mileage i could get with a tune?

I have seen over 5+ mpg improvement with the tune installed.
