Need a recommendation for 06 Mustang GT

Hi there,

I want to get a CAI today and I am hoping you can help me chose between these three, based on the tunes in the Predator:

1. C&L
2. K&N
3. Airaid

Well, you'll need to order the CL7140 for use with the C&L CAI.
The U7140 does not have the C&L tunes.

Should I go with the K&N then since I can't get a tune for the C&L?

Get the Western Motor Sports CAI. It is a little more expensive but you will see 30 HP gains. I have seen the dyno runs on a 05 with thier CAI and no other mods or tune.

Nah, if you have the U7140, let me know and I'll send you th C&L tune as a custom tune.

Bummer... I went ahead and bought the Airaid since there is a tune for it... I heard the K&N wasn't the best bang for the buck, and I heard that you can get about 18hp with the Airaid.

Question for you... there is an tube insert on the Airaid that you can remove when you do a tune... is that something I want to do or just keep it in there?

I am going to get a diablosport sticker for my car... love this tuner!! I don't know why anyone would use SCT...

Somewhere around 30rwhp over stock with the CAI and the tune from what I recall....
