Hello,
I currently have a 2009 Challenger SRT / 6 Speed on order. When I see it is a guess at this point, maybe 2-3 months.
I've been looking around for a way to shut off the CAGS at the computer, and figured the Predator would be a good tool. It certainly looks like a good tool to adjust the settings for a slightly cooler thermostat too...
However, up until this point no Dodge SRT car had a 6 speed transmission available in it - so any guesses what they are doing to the computer settings for the Challenger for 2009?
My question is, what kind of changes do you expect to make for the 2009 SRT, and will you just be patching your current Predator tuner - and how soon?
Thanks in advance,
David Johnson

Have you driven the 08 Challenger? I think you should before that order goes through. That car is gonna suck with a manual tranny. Its too big to be agile or fun to drive with a stick (I hate stick anyway, but thats another story).
RE: 2009 Challenger SRT / 6 Speed - CAGS
Are you sure it has CAGS? If it does i am sure we can disable that once we get to look at a tune from one.
We should be able to just update the u7135 in order to support it, unless dodge pulls a fast one and does something we are unaware of at this time.
No ETA at this time.

Are you kidding? They didn't make small cars back when and they all had sticks and they were all fun to drive. Not long ago my T-bird Supercoupe had a stick and it was a blast to drive. (I love sticks, and that's the whole storyMike_Levy wrote:Have you driven the 08 Challenger? I think you should before that order goes through. That car is gonna suck with a manual tranny.
