00 7.3 cant boot up my U7170

i got a predator and it has a updated crom file from mike wesley and i got custom tunes and a original back up file sent to me by email. mike tuned my truck from his laptop so i can't return it to stock.

so i downloaded the custom tunes that he sent me onto my predator and used the back-up file he gave me. when i went to put them in my truck it said this tune was not installed or something like that, and so i pressed esc a few times and just out the 110 HP tune on. after it installed the tune and said "you may unplug the predator", i click reboot and it said "this tool was improperly upgraded. please downgrade to the previous version and restore the original back up before using this update."

and i click reboot and it just goes back to the "you may unplug the predator." and it just keeps going back and forth.

now if i press esc it goes to a screen that says Your key is: and it gives me a different key every time then i press continue then it goes to a screen that says Enter Password:

so my truck runs fine even tho the tunes are kinda weak and don't shift to good.

i have tried getting in contact with mike threw email for help but he hasent returned my email. help would be highly appreciated so i can get my predator to work again

The message "this tool was improperly upgraded" is because the predator has a backup or previously installed a tune on the last revision. Was the tool restored (returned the truck to stock settings) before you updated the predator? Also what was the crom file that he sent you. There is a process in which is needed to be done to update to the latest revision. If you want you can reach tech support @ 800.531.5484 and they will walk you through what needs to be done.

well i put the crom file in back in may and it worked sense then and i did return the truck to stock but the stock is a custom tune from mikes laptop. but all i did was download the custom tunes and they wouldn't load into the truck. so i put the 110 HP tune and i never really upgraded the predator
