08 Silverado When to install tune?

I just drove an 08 silverado off the lot on Friday. It has less than 300 km on it yet. MFR states a 500 km break in period for the vehicle. Would it be safe to install my tune after this period or is it recommended to wait?

I put a AFE CAI and Flowmaster muffler on my truck after I drove it off the lot...I think it had 20 miles on the odometer....hahaha

Arrrrgh, the METRIC system.
Programmed my truck before 500 km (I think) no issues.

Safe, yes. Wise, perhaps not. I would suggest running a couple of tanks of whatever octane you plan to use gas through your truck to let it get it's head together (baseline) before tuning it.
