(95 octane for Charger R/T) Help Please

Hi,

I want to buy a predator for my car
i have Charger R/T 2006 5.7 Hemi and we are using 95 octane Gas.

i install this on my car now:
-Mopar sport air filter
-Magnaflow cat back system
-JET performance Chip stage 2
-Throttle body (JET)

i have 2 question:
1-Is there a predator work with 95 octane?
2- Is this predator will work with my Jet Performance chip OR i have to remove it from my car and this predator will do the same function?

the predator comes with 91 and 93 octane tunes, a 93 tune on 95 octane would work fine, i suppose you live in the middle east.
and remove the jet chip before installing the predator.

Is there any performance plans or any stages are stored in the predator?
Please provide us any previous topics or links to show the performance changes between the Stock engines and engines using predator.

the predator includes tunes for 91 & 93 octane settings for stock cars or cars using a cold air intake system.
you can add bolt-ons and not need to modify the tunes included by much, but once you go into the engine you gonna need a custom tune, that can be done via email.

check your octane ratings first!!!

overseas countries (like the EU) calculate the octane rating differently than the US. This means that 93 US octane is equivalent to 98 EU Octane. So if you have 95 EU Octane then that is equivalent to 91 US octane. So you may have a lot of pinging and spark knock retard because you are running 91 US fuel with a 93 octane diablosport tune. Be sure to check your countries rating system for octane first.

Right. Its not "real" 95 octane. Its actually our 91 octane. Use the 91 tune unless you can get 98 octane over there.

I think this is real 95 octane. and our standards is like US standards.

seems like the other guys are right 95 octane over there is like the 91 octane from the us

it should say on your gas pumps how it is calculated. If it is 95 octane using the (RON+MON)/2 method then that octane rating on the pump is using the US standard.
