Good Day.
I have 2007 new body style GMC Sierra with 4.8, auto, 3.73 from factory. Added are GM Perf dual cat back (dealer installed) and GM air intake kit (self installed).
Bought u7194 from local outlet about 1.5 months ago, and have waited until today to install s/w in my truck. Recently uploaded 8r05 in attempt to be current (orig was 8r01 in my unit).
OnStar light and radio dead after pulling fuses. Am getting message on programmer to visit your website for update. Posts indicate I don't need 8r06 for my application, so am I doing something wrong?
Canadian vehicle, assembled in USA....v.i.n. is 1GTEC14CX7Z5*****.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
Pat

Thanks for posting the VIN.
It seems there may have been some new calibrations released by GM that the Predator is not recognizing.
We are currently looking into this issue and we'll let you know what we find.
Thanks

Hello Mike:
Thanks to Diablosport for getting 8r07 up and running for u7194 on the code "C" 4.8liter motors. Installed the tune last night, drove a 200 mile city/highway mix trip today, starting with the 87 octane tune using 89 in the tank. (for safety)
Power noticeably improved and mileage seems better also.
One small issue...... The electric fans come on at a bit lower temp than stock, seem to be at full speed right away, and seldom turn off. Ambient temps today started at 42F and got up to 67F, so that is not the issue. Truck was empty, no trailer etc.
Do I just adjust the fan parameter in the tune for my individual truck/thermostat/sensor combination, or are deeper changes required? If self adjustable, do I need to take the tune 'out' and adjust it with Predator disconnected from truck, or can it be done in the vehicle?
Thanks for your help.

Go ahead and try raising the fan onset temps in the adjustable parameters.
Thanks

Mike:
Implemented minor tweaks to the first four (lowest temp) fan parameters, leaving the rest unchanged. Fans now work like stock in similar ambient (54F) to yesterday, so case closed. This is a fun tool to play with!
cheers,
Pat
