u7194-9r05 abs problem

Post by viper »

i updated my predator with the latest update and now i my ABS light and parking brake light comes on. i tried to mess with the tire size and that did not help. i reinstalled the 9r03 version and everything works fine. just wondering if this has happened to anyone else or any ideas on how to fix it? its on a 07 vmax

In a previous reviision to those that you cite, I had a similiar thing happen. Once, and only once, I pushed a tune and the Check engine light appeared. I restored my factory tune, cleared all codes, re-flashed with the 91 tune, and all has been well since.

As this is 9r05, maybe the DS guys can chime in here. COULD be a small issue in the new revision.

yeah everything seems ok. It takes about a mile or two then it comes on. so after it came on the first time i restored the original tune then put the 93 tune back in. same thing again abs light came on. then i tried to mess with the tire settings and still no luck.

So even without changing the tire size you are getting the light?

hey my o7 1500 4x4 does the same thing when I try and change the tire size the abs light flashes brake light comes on and it dings if I install the tune and leave the tire size alone it doesnt. That sucks though because my speedometer is off due to larger tires.

Viper, any chance I can get you to extract a copy of the original backup from your Predator and email it to me so we can take a look?

Thanks

same problem Canuck's been having all along with this 7194 and oversized tires...

if he changes the tire size to get the speedo correct, his ABS light is on...

if he does NOT change the size and leaves it at stock settings, his speedo is off, but he gets no ABS light..

Is there anything that you can help out with. Monte has tried to help, might want to ask him what he did to the DiabLew tune to try to get this problem solved.
