Is that tune available for Jeep SRT8...And will it work for Nitrous? I do have a wideband,BWoody CAI,T STAT,NGK V plugs and a B&G NOS Tune..
RE: Re: RE: who wants a e85 tune for their LX?
My tuner will not mail out tunes, you may want to check with Andy and see what he will do. I don't know why it would not work on a Jeep. I know you need a CMR Tuner to do the change because it is not as simple as adding more fuel and spark from what they tell me. But you don't need to buy any hardware the 6.1 can be made to work with a custom Predator tune.billyboys wrote:Is that tune available for Jeep SRT8...And will it work for Nitrous? are you needing 5.7s 300c's for your testing email sentdynometer wrote:Need a couple beta testers, please email me with your location in the US and the availablity to E85. Documented previous mileage tests would be nice. Please email current tunes to [email protected]. I need beta testers that will give me ACTUAL real world testimonial, good, bad, or ugly. I need the feedback sent to me, NOT on any forums until we have the beta testing complete. First five to email me with the info will be contacted back and I will inform you to send me your files.
thanks

I don't know where you guys live but these guys have done a bunch of e-85 tuning. You need to get your vehicle there because they will not mail out tunes: http://www.hitechmotorsport.com/index.p ... e&Itemid=1

Gentleman (and ladies if it applies) I will be on the road for the next two weeks and then we will get started on the LX e85 tunes again. I will put up another post and we will contact you when we are ready. Please don't fill up my email with the tunes until I ask again (my email is only so big and lotsa files fills it up fast!)
thanks

Would an E-85 tune require replacing parts in the car? Isnt the fuel more corosive?
RE: Re: RE: who wants a e85 tune for their LX?
No problems to report with the Chrysler 300C SRT, I also know others who have lots of miles on E-85. Watch this video: http://www.ethanol.org/video/Charger250 wrote:Would an E-85 tune require replacing parts in the car? Isnt the fuel more corosive?
If you can find it, consider it cheap racing gas. Nascar is currently testing it also.

RE: Re: RE: who wants a e85 tune for their LX?
I think this topic was started almost 6 months ago, I was probably the first to email Andy my tune, about two months later he emailed me saying there was not enough interest. I for one would gladly pay to get an e85 tune but cannot seem to find it for the hemi. any input would be appreciated
RE: Re: RE: who wants a e85 tune for their LX?
I have to wonder if the reason why there is not enough interest in the tunes is because the cars are not setup physicaly for the corrosive fuel.
RE: Re: RE: who wants a e85 tune for their LX?
From what I Have read all LX cars can handle the e85 fuels
RE: Re: RE: who wants a e85 tune for their LX?
Bob, you need to travel to MN, but contact: http://www.hitechmotorsport.com/ he won't mail tunes like I have posted before, but he will do the CMR tune, they know their stuff. They got 408 rwhp/418lbft with E-85 on mine. Mods are only a Mopar CAI and 185 T-stat! It gets 14-15 around town running hard, 16-17 on the highway on the corn juice as I call it.
But I gotta say that last update (just the canned programs) from these guys runs pretty nice, thanks Diablosport.
