Barely Beat an F-150.. WTF???? Please Help!!

and i did!

4.8's can make power, mine did... it takes more than a tornado and a spacer though.

I do. I have also started to think that the 22' wheels are made out of lead too. They are so damn heavy. I' guess I'll go back to grandma driving for a while until I sneak up to an unsuspecting ford in motion..

I have read on several forums and there appears to be some people that claim that their 4.8 runs like a raped monkey with a custom tune. Could I benefit from one? Where can I turn ON the Raped Monkey option on the predator???

Johan, Sounds like a new tune name. Johan makes an RKL tune for the Dodge diesel predators for Road Kill Larry. This would be the RP Tune for Raped Monkey Tune for the GM Gas Predators...something to think about.

I thought mine was decently quick, I expected less than 16 second flat quarter time, but it didn't happen. Most of it's due to being a slug out of the hole. They pull pretty good for a truck if your moving and make the trans shift down into 1st, even for the small 4.8. The new 4.8's make more power than the early 5.3's did. Then again the 5.3 has received the same upgrades, so they still have the same gap in horsepower and torque over the 4.8.
