IAT timing table

Post by CB900F »

Hello,

I have a U7191 (2006 GTO) and would like to relieve the heatsoak issue some. I have heard that adjusting the IAT timing table can help, can I do this with the predator I have? Can anyone recommend a good setting for a stock motor? I have the 91 octane tune already on it btw.

Thanks!

We have already made these types of adjustments in the tunes provided.

Thanks

we can't adjust that on the handheld.... it would have to be done as a custom tune by the guys at diablosport or any other CMR tuner/dealer.

Hey Mike. Would you be able to get specifics on what timing is pulled, and at what temperature, with the U7191 predator tune?

I am not at my work pc right now but we do not modify the IAT table too much from factory due to the fact that it is done very well taking the intake air temp and ramping the timing out due to the higher knock propensity of the hotter air, reducing it further will increase knock and thus knock sensors will pull out more timing causing a greater loss in performance. Trust me, I have played around with this table quite a bit.

I figured with the spark advance over the stock timing, that you wouldn't do much to the IAT table. It's just not logical.
