if you want to be able to download the logs to your pc, you're gonna have to get the cables and power adapter...

if you just want to read the data live on the screen while you drive, and not save logs, you don't need the cables... but have someone ride with you then so they can write down the LTFT numbers while you're driving steady....

Speaking of WOT, I found when the fuel shut off cuts in. Had a stop light race and was manually shifting, I was enjoying the 3 length lead and the lovely sound of the high reving 5.3L, kinda forgot about the shift thing. At 6k the truck started to fall flat and quit pulling, slid the shifter up a notch and we're off again.

BTW Lew, that was the first time I was able to REALLY try the tune. I LOVE IT!!!! Thanks Lew, Johan and anyone else at Diablo for putting that one together. I haven't put the DOD modded tune in yet, its here waiting, I just need to a get a round to it. I've been working on the honeydew list for fall.

hi all, I tried loggin my #s for the first time, but I couldnt log 20 minuts, actuall only around 2 minutes was loged, and everytime i repeat it the same time apperas than it says log full, I made sure to chose only the requiered logs as stated in the original post, nothing more, except the to ltfts banks as advised, any how , I tried many times and it is the same.
any advise? ( U7194 updated ) on a sierra 08 5.3

The 7194 has limited memory, so 2 minutes is normal. You did the right thing, limited parameters gets the most time.

correct - what he said ^^^^^^^^

that's why a lot of guys with the 7194 end up using a laptop and the dataviewer app to do logs, then you can log as long as you want...

but if you do the steady driving for all of the 2 minutes and do the log correctly - with only the necessary parameters selected, and steady driving in the proper rpm range, then you'll have enough useful data to work with.
