I've been waiting for months for Diablosport to come out with a tuner for the 08/09 Bullitt. Did I go to a discount automotive E-tailer that would have sold me the tuner for $320 on sale with free shipping. NOPE. To ensure I got the latest version without the need for downloads I went straight to the Diablosport web site and placed my order. I paid the full $370 + $8.90 for shipping, or so I thought. Diablosport sent the order to Shopatron in Calif. who sent the order to Catoctin offroad here in Md. Add $22.73 sales tax. My total came to $401.62 or so I thought. When the tuner finally came it was not the latest version, I needed a download. After my bloodpressure returned to normal I called Diablosport. I was told for $10.00 I could go to my local Radio Shack and get the power supply and cable I needed to download the update. Off to Radio Shack I went, $57.22 later I had what I needed.
GRAND TOTAL $458.84.
After reconfiguring my computer and resetting com port baud rates I was able to download what I needed. I called Diablosport, again and gave them an opportunity to make it right, and was told there was nothing they could do. I will never do business with Diablosport again. I'm off now to get some preparation H.

oh get over it. i guarantee diablosport wouldnt have warrantied your predator if you had bought it from some website that was selling below m.s.r.p.and everyone else who wanted to update their predator had to do the same thing as you.so quit your bitching and deal with it.and the cables needed for download cost 40.on their website.only cost me 42.50 to go to radio shack and get the cables.

I concur with Mrehn! Dazzy can go suck an egg! When you buy one of these Tuners, from any authorized Dealer, Diablo will honor the warranty. I got mine for $290 including shipping from American Muscle and found the warranty to be intact. When you purchase one of these marvels, nothing is mentioned about the fact that downloads are necessary. One can never be assured that the proper programming is included. This is my second one; one for my Corvette and the one for my Shelby. Both tuners arrived with inadequate programming. The second one had no tunes at all and the first one showed "Out OF Memory", when I received it. Diablo should increase the price and include the transformer and cable. Full disclosure would smooth alot of feathers. It appears fop all the world to be a hidden charge, which is iritating and right up there with no useable manual included with a new unit. There is a bunch of competetion out there Diablo, You should pay attention to this complaint. I, personally, will buy a SCT next go around! The previous comment by Lazorrar is typical. We got our tuner at about the same time and I have followed his progress, or the lack thereof. Between equipment errors and the sometimes cryptic and incomplete response from tech support, Diablo, can be a very frustrating purchase.

We update all over our diablosport inventory regularly. We also regularly advertise the current update and the update history.

American Muscle cannot sell the unit below $290. It is in direct violation of DiabloSport's MRP Policy. If they choose to warranty your unit because they were "authorized" at the time of sale, then you are lucky. Otherwise, I would ask DiabloSport to put it in writing. The MRP policy clearly states that all resellers that sell (that means the invoice/receipt price) below $369 (for predators) are no longer authorized and that buying a unit from an unathorized source will void your warranty.

The Shopatron/DiabloSport online store is merely a website that takes orders and sends them to your nearest dealer that signed up for shopatron. Why didnt you go back to your local dealer and have them update it for free for you?

No offense, but SCT hasnt had a user forum, so good luck getting any responses cryptic or not. SCT is only as good as your local dyno shop IMO.
