I need help with Predator v2.13 and custom tune

Background: I had the hard shift problem with the Predator and my '00 Silverado 5.3. last year. I was sent 2 custom tunes to fix the problem. One was an 87octane tune and the other was a 93octante tune. I installed the 87 custom tune as per the instructions and all went well.

Fastforward to this week: I decided to put the 93 custom tune in, so I went out to the truck, without doing anything with the PC, and did a Restore Original. Here's question one, was I supposed to restore the backup CRY file from the PC before actually trying to restore the truck to it's original state?

Today: I did a Vehicle Backup with the PC and Predator (perthe instructions and at this point am not sure what I backed up) and tried to put the 93 custom tune in the Predator and it seemed to go as expected except that the menu still says Tune It instead of Custom Tune.

Help!?

Go into the tune it menu and see if it gives you the choice to install customtune...

Umm, yep it's there. Talk about feeling stupid.

I think that answers all of my questions, but just for clearify...if I want to restore the vehicle's original factory tune, I need to do a vehicle backup then download the original .cry file to the Predator, right?

No, the backup is always in the tool, what you exported was simply a copy of the stock tune.
