I don't have a special DOD tune in 7194, but I do have DOD enabled.

The DoD adjustments will basically allow the vehicle to go into 4cyl mode more often during cruise.

I think I'd like to jump on the band wagon here. I need to find a computer with a com port and figure out how to copy the tune from the diablo.

So I just stumbled across this as I have not been on the site for a while,no problems with my Predator and pretty happy with it!
Now I have the 6L and do notice that it does not go into V4 at times when I think it should.
So yeah I want to try this new programming.
Question I have is do you want a copy of tune when the Predator tune is actually in the truck(currently the 87 tune with parameter adjustments),or do we have to go back to stock programming to make a copy???
Let me know and I will definitely be sending a copy of tune for adjustment.
Thanks

I have it, and see no increase in mileage yet for my Vmax. But I think my last tank had E10 in it, so I'm not sure if thats causing the "equal" mileage. I do notice the v4 mode stays on longer, but on the clock, I see no increase in mileage yet. I've been running fuel without ethonal and was seeing 16.5 mpg average. The last tank with e10 in it, I'm still seeing 16.6mpg.

Just fyi.

With the mileage tweaks Lew did to my tune, I'm 4-5 MPG better in town. Haven't done a highway trip of an significance with out the trailer.

so let me get this right the 6.0L is getting 16.6mpg in town? cause im still debating on getting my predator on my 2004 Silverado 2500HD 6.0L. If this is not the case will somebody set me right and give me the increase i'll get if im currently getting about 12-13 in town with out the trailer, and with the trail about 8-9

Just got the revised DOD programming from Johan.
Before tune I am getting about 14 city and over 16 highway, depending on speeds of course, this with the 87 tune.
Weather is turning cold up here so it may be a bit hard to get a proper comparison.
We will see but if I can get even a mpg increase it's money in my pocket!!

My 6.0 averages 15-16 mixed. When I say mixed, I mean back roads, short trips to the store, other places close to home, 10 miles of highway each way to/from work at highways speeds (65mph) with the road having rolling hills, not by any means flat for very long.

When I travel longer distances, the urge to drive under 70 is very hard. I've seen mileage 19.5 on one trip (not over 62mph), but the roads were pretty flat. Average Pa roads aren't very flat and I tend to stick around 16-17mpg on most trips under 70 miles.

I know most of my averages were taken using fuel without ethonal, and I think the last 2 fill ups had e10, so maybe thats the main reason I'm not seeing an increase.

Hope that helps.
