You know this tool will only work on older calibrations, right?

yes, i am running an 03 FICM, i called tech to see if they could tell me if it would work with it, i was told id have to try it. the strategy code for the truck it came out of was VXAP2

Well the U7160 had to have a certain FICM/PCM combo in order to support the vehicle. If you have one but not the other than it still will not work. Older FICM calibrations and Older PCM calibrations were supported. Vxap2 is a newer 03 PCM calibration.

so i need an original flash 03 FICM and computer. now what im looking to do is basically stack, the SCT i have does not tune the FICM only the ECM and TCM, a few of us 6L guys were interested in seeing what would happen if we ran the diablo u7160 as well as our custom tuned SCTs, problem is no one has a u7160 to try it.

I have one I haven't used. Bought it used a few months ago. It has the Ford 6.0 label on the back. Let me know if you are interested?
