When you go to modify tune and install the changes, do these changes take effect on top of the current installed tune?
I have the 93 CAI tune installed and will change fan settings to suit my 180 tstat. Will these cahnges and others such as fuel / spark advance be added to the installed tune, so it will be the 93CAI + the modified parameters?
Same question for quick adjust, will these install in addition to the current tune, so I would have the 93 CAI tune + the quick adjust settings + the modify tune parameters that have been changed as the final tune?
To save all these changes to back up on my PC, do I export the last saved file or export the 93CAI file?
By the way, then manual says the exported files should be saved as an .frg file type. I did this when I saved my original back up to PC. I read on this forum that the DCX file types should be .drg...which is correct
Thanks!!

*.frg files are Ford tunes. *.drg are Dodge. Save them as drgs. Not that it really matters, the files are the same, just the extension is different.

Thanks Mike.
Do you have any idea about the modifying tune question above?

yes, when you modify the tune parameters, you are changing the currently installed tune. you select the same tune that you installed before, then select Modify Tune, make your adjustments, and then install it. it will install that tune with the modifications/adjustments you made to it.
