lly dmax puck probs

i got a 2004.5 lly duramax i recently just installed my power puck and when i turn it past about 15% it goes into limp and will not rev past 2000. i was reading about a shim kit for the puck on the last article but mine dint come with 1 so i am wondering wat it is and how do i get 1

The shim kits were sent out to anyone that ordered one without a shim kit, so your dealer should have one, if not, please contact our sales department at 877 396 6614x2 and they'll take care of you.

ok thanks i was researching it further and i could i insted of tha shim kit could i put in its place a PPE race valve?
