boost pressure with live data on pred.

when i am using the the live data on the pred. it shows 14 lbs at an idle .
that cant be right .then when i hog on it down the road it hits 50 lbs on a stock turbo!!!!!! what should it be at idle ? i thought like 0 or 1-5 lbs at most..

My guess is that at idle you are seeing about 14.7 psi, which is atmospheric pressure, then when you see 50 at WOT, it is actually 50-14.7 to see the boost being added by the turbo, so about 35 lbs.
