Just as an insight for you guys.
I played with my buddies 08 silverado the other day, i put the regular tweaked diablo tune in(same mods as in Canucks toon) and he was pretty pleased with the results.
He had hptuners for this truck so i decided to go in and play with the tcm portion of it and to be honest i was not very impressed, it did not feel like the older body style trucks with the transmission dialed in, might of needed more work or some vital parameters where missing but overall it was not very impressive.
This is by no means an excuse and we will get the tcm support done for your apps.
Also this observation was based on the trucks, the gto's, vette's, tbss' and LS4 might react differently, i sure hope so.

I will say that the tweaks implemented in my tune (7194 w Johann and Diablew Tweaks, 2007 GMT900, 5.3, 4-Speed Auto) have made the shifting MUCH crisper.

Do I need a neck brace when it shifts: NO

But it sure does NOT feel like the trannie is sliding down a muddy slope when it shifts....

It won't matter if it is page 42 or 4200. Either the tool hardware/OS isn't compatible or they lack the will or expertise to do it.

Obviously it is not a priority or deemed worthwhile, however the measurement or worthwhile is determined.

If you have these non TCM tools, get a shift kit and use either the non DOD tune or Lew’s tweaked DOD tune.
