Re: Just need to throw in my $.02
You are going to LOVE the Predator when you get yours working. It will be worth the wait trust me.adepter wrote:I just FINALLY talked my wife into letting me spend the $375 for one of these things and guess what, mine doesn't work either because my Calid is too new. I get off the phone a few minutes ago (Friday 8/22) with Diablo Sport and they told me it's going to be WEEKS before these new calid's are supported. Glad I have a $375 paperweight for the next three weeks. Anything I can do to help speed the process up? I'd be glad too do it. Just filled the tank up with 93 Octane too. Well...have a great weekend all. I'm going to enjoy getting NAILED by Tropical Storm Fey and let my un-tuned Charger sit in my garage.
(FYI: I went nuts when mine came and I could not use it for 7 days because I did not have the cables to update it so I am being a hypocrite I guess.)

I hope this happens soon, there are several issues I need addressed on my car under Dodge warranty. I do not want a $375 door stop. I am very concerned my beloved Predator will no longer work, as some of the issues require a flash. I am deeply concerned the Predator will become worthless in resale and usability if I receive a new calid. I've been using it since May 2008.
Please address this soon, I want my car fixed by the dealer!!! I'm caught between a rock and a hard place, eh?
p.s.
How about some 4 speed auto 42RLE love, while you're at it? It's not like they are on most DCX vehicles or anything...

All I can say is that DS has given me superior support. I have never had a problem that they did not fix the same or next day. After reading this post I understand why you guys are upset. I guess they did not know DCX was going to screw with the code when they sold the Pred to you guys. I hope it works out for all of you in the end. I can guarantee that when it is working you will love it and the excellent service DS gives you in the future.

Just recieved my predator today and i guess i am not the only person having this problem!!!! I dont understand how you can sell a product without informing the customer that it may not work on all 08 vehicles. i hate to tell you also that after speaking with tech. support they say they will start working on it when the trucks are done. SO THEY HAVE NOT EVEN STARTED! They also added that there was only one person there cause everyone else was at SEMA, so i guess no work on it this week! There should def. be some sort of compensation for this...... i was told a month to this day it will prob. be done. HAHA WHAT A JOKE.... I KNOW THESE THINGS TAKE TIME AND IT IS GONNA BE A HELL OF A LOT LONGER THAN THAT. VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT SO FAR.... i know that it is not there fault that Chrysler updated the calids, but geez, work on it for the people that just put $400 in their bank accounts... HOWEVER... I was not aware of this problem until today... some people have been waiting for months, i was not made aware of this issue. WHY AFTER 3 MONTHS ARE YOU UNABLE TO MAKE PEOPLE AWARE OF THIS ISSUE!!!!!!!!!!!!! (wish i would have seen the forum thread)
-I would like to add though that the person i talked to in tech support was helpful, understanding, and patient with this situation... now they only need an update....
