I just ordered a new predator pcm tuner for my 06 Yukon Denali. Also ordered a new Corsa exhaust and Volant cold air intake. I'm new to Diablo, my previous ride (03 sierra ) had a Hypertech tuner. What should I expect with the diablo compared to the competition ? Anybody with a similiar ride and setup have any comments about the Predator.

I had the same setup once, on my current sierra. The diablo will have more adjustability then the hypertech, it does take a little to get used to it compared to the hypertech....everything is adjustable where on hypertech you can only do what they allow you. Diablo does have some "caned" tunes in the tool that you can just select and go but if you want more you need to change some things. Im sure there some guys on here that have a Yukon delali that can give you some good hp and gas millage numbers. In the end all the ls series motors are about the same. When your ready get some logging done and adjust those ltfts first.

Might want to mention to make your mods first before logging. I think the built in adjustments will let you tune for the exhaust and intake, but you are ultimately better off getting a custom tune.

you should gain about 15-20 hp/tq with the predator and your cai/exhaust setup...

install the diablo tune, drive for about 50 miles, then do a data log to see where stuff is at...

here's info on how to do a data log correctly:

once you get that done, see what your average ltft's are at and then adjust your injector slope accordingly...

that will gain you faster/quicker throttle response, stronger/harder pull, better acceleration, and better mileage...
