Do predator's leave a footprint in the computer after they are taken out???

If you have the latest revision in th U7131 it wont "leave a foot print" or remove "key counts" atleast I havent had any dealer issue.

What about the fuel consumption log on the computer?

Mine is a 7130 for an 05. Will the dealer be able to see it was installed even after i uninstall it??? Have to go get some trans issues sorted out. I'm not sure when the update has ben done to it. I loaded it into my truck with no problems, but now see there was an update to fix the key count issue. Just wondeirng if I haven't updated it with the new revisions is it stil erasing my key counts when I take it out or put it in?? And if I do upload the new revisions will it restore my key counts or does it start from whe I last installed the predator?? Thanx

if you are not sure about update to be safe I would take predator off and I hate to say this because it sounds so stupid but I would sit in the drive way and cycle the ke just to be safe and the over head guess-o-meter i would just reset it and and let it idle for about 15min or drve it around stock pretty hard. Yeah I thought about that. i'll take it off and might drive it for a week or so and cycle the key a bunch just so it doesn't look too obvious if they decide to go looking for that. The trans is ok as long as I don't git on her too hard. Who knows in stock it may be fine. I was thinking of trying the tow tune to see if it was any better but gonna take it in and see what they say. Couldn't hurt to try, if they say no then I guess i don't have to convince the wife I need a GOEREND!!!! Should be an easy sell if I can't get mine fixed under warranty lol. Also last night I checked my predator and I have version 9r02 in it so i don't have the key count fix in it, but I'll wait til i hear back from the dealer before I upload the new version into the truck. If they give me warranty the once I get it back i'll start fresh.

Good luck with it! Post up what happens I am curious how they handle this, and like you said once you go back to stock it maybe fine and then they cant fix it, and I am saving for the SBC DD clutch, but my wife wont let me get it until absolutly needed, so when the clutch goes completly out I will send to the store for some thing and she will tell me fix my truck, when she cant get it into gear...lol

I hear ya on that one, wife won't touch my truck til I:
1. put steps on it so she can get in
2. turn down the tuner so it doesn't smoke so much
3. put a muffler on it

All I can say is one out of thre ain't bad. Can you guess which one I will do. And yeah for sure once I figure out what they are gonna do with it I'll let ya know. Worst case scenerio I have to put a tc and vb in it for $1500-2000 sucks but then I can get on it. I'm also gonna see if they will warranty it Dodge has an aftermarket heavyduty trans from thier moparperformance site that i'm gonna ask about. Pay the difference and maybe the'll put that in?? Who knows.
