Any plans besides the Hemi?? i.e. the 4.7L Magnum?

I and the entire dodgeforum.com third Gen Dodge Dakota community if you had any plans to visit the 4.7L engine on our trucks 05-07...

Superchips just came out with one but only achieved 18 rwhp and 8 lb/tq...

We wanted to email you guys first, because we know that you guys are the real powermakers...

It is something we have planned to look into after we complete a few other projects we have on our plate, but no ETA as of yet.

We are just finishing up the HEMI Ram tool, and plan to support most Ram V8 applications in the future.

Yes There are ALOT of guys with the 4.7 in the Rams, Dakotas, and durangos that would buy your programmers up ASAP!!! I would be on the top of that list for sure!!

Yeah thats what I mean...I know of at least a dozen people who, if had they had the choice between superchips, or hypertech would choose diablo and buy for sure, thats why we havent purchased and have contacted you guys first.

Like I said before Superchips achieved 18 rwhp and 8lb-tq and priced thier tuner at $379.99.. and hypertech did the 4.7L for only the 08 models...so we're holding out hope for you guys.....I can gurantee youll see purchases if you open the market for the third Generation 4.7L...

Do you guys have any kind of time line for us poor guys with the 4.7s mainly the 04-07's. I would really like more options in tuning! I have a superchips, but I want more POWER!!!! Please give us something!

They don't give timelines any more because when they can't meet the time, then people bitch and whine. Its probably safe to say that it won't be this year, and most likely won't be the first half of next year.

I would hope they would be coming out soon, I would be interested in getting a predator for my 4.7, I guess it all depends on how it compares to the others, HOPEFULLY we see awesome numbers

as for superchips i bought the 3815 for the 05 thru 07 dak. went to upload programmer says calibration is not supported at this time (WTF) plus i am running nitrous and a few other major modes. was hoping diablo will be able to come out with a custom tune for my truck. been waiting over two weeks for superchips. i find it a stab in the back when you pay 400 for a programmer and have to wait three weeks for the calibration updates when they say first to the market. superchips = superjunk

What kills me is that Diablo has made tuners for PT Crusiers and V6 chargers and 300's, yet That have not even TOUCHED our TRUCKS!!!!!! WTF!! THat makes NO sense what so ever! Come on guys!! Give us some support!!!!!

The Neon and PT share most of their programming with the Hemi, so those coming out were a no brainer. The V6 LX's? Got me. I know if I was in charge i wouldn't have supported them. Thats like rewarding the buyers for being cheap and not buying the Hemi, which makes zero sense. Actually, thats the same reason I wouldn't bother with the 3.7 and 4.7 (though I understand the Hemi was not offered in the Dakota).

Yeah, Not many people want a v6 truck, but bashin the 4.7's because were to CHEAP!!?? Ok yeah that makes sense! Not everyone has the use for a HEMI, but still would like to make the best of what they have. I see no reason someone would buy a heavy AZZ car with a small v6 in it, to make it a race car. But I can totally understand why someone would buy a midsize or fullsize truck w/o the top of the line motor. To be honest the only motor I really think is worth anything is the cummins!
