keep backing off timing until the pinging stops, that's all you really can do for now. Are you sure you don't have a really bad vacuum leak somewhere? Was your manifold installed correctly? A bad vacuum leak will cause bad pinging because the engine is ingesting unmetered air and cant make the appropriate changes to the fuel supply
A good way to check for vacuum leaks to start your engine, open the hood and spray some carb cleaner around the suspected area. If you hear the rpm's rise, then that's a good sign you've got a leak somewhere.
Other than what we've been trying, if you still can't get it right then you might have to end up taking it to a shop with a dyno/wideband. If you lived closer I'd be able to help you bro, best of luck
WHATS WRONG???

Sounds like you have a problem with a few things, I would spend a few bucks and have the car put on a scope at a reputable shop, you might have a vacum leak at the manifold, your timing might also be off, do you know if the car has any pully mods or other mods not mentioned? Once again, get the car into the shop so you can get this resolved before you damage the engine.....better to be safe then sorry!
