Can someone please summarize how many things are being adjusted with the standard Diablo Predator tune I installed in my new Z06? I've been asked by several other Z06 owners what changes were made in the tune. I know the fuel mixture and timing is changed, but what else is reprogrammed? Somebody specifically asked if the CAGs was shut off?
Also, after installing the normal Diablo tune in my stock Z06, I notice my exhaust butterflies are now locked open and unable to close. Earlier I installed a remote control switch on my exhaust and now it has no effect, the butterflies stay open all the time, my remote switch or the stock fuse installed has no effect! I prefer the exhaust pipes open but sometimes I like to shut them at cruising speed on the freeway to eliminate the drone sound. Is this part of the tune and was the exhaust fuse circuit disabled with the Diablo Predator installed?
Thanks,

RE: Predator Install on my 2006 Z06 Corvette
There are numerous changes made in these tunes, too numerous to list here.
Among the changes are revised timing and fuel tables from idle to WOT as well as the elimination of CAGS and rear O2 delete. We also alter things like power enrichment delay and catalytic overtemp protection.
I was unaware that the exhaust stays open with the tune, I will look into making this an adjustable parameter in this tool.
Thanks

The Predator did not effect my butterflies, it was a connection that came loose that was causing the remote not to work, so no need to worry about it, thanks!

Would you be interested in trying a custom tune which would disable the butterflies? I want to see if it works and if it does add it in as an adjustable parameter.

Other than opening and closing the butterflies, would this tune be any different than the one I have now?
No problem, let's try it?

It would be identical to the tune you have now aside from that change. Do you have the necessary hardware to transfer tunes to your vehicle?
You can shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] if you have more questions.
