Buying A Used Granatelli Predator

Post by NiteRiderWS6 »

hello my friend had a 2000 Camaro SS and He had A Granatelli Predator programmer on his car. He re-set it back to stock tune and is selling it to me but i dont know if it has to be sent in to be unlocked. I have a 2000 Trans Am WS6. The part number he gave me for the programmer was 998917. how much would it be if i had to send it in to get re-flashed or unlocked. thanks

if he restored the original stock tune to his car, then it should be fine.

The actual Diablo-version part number is U7198 and you can find info about it here:

It would depend on revision that is on the Predator.
If it has the 1.03 revision, it will need to be sent in for an update, any newer (2.XX) revision should be fine.
