Gotcha. Thanks for the info on that. Now I just need to figure out why everything is shifting weird. Hopefully its not my OD clutches fried.

I also redid the tunes for harder wot shifts, should also shift a little quicker part throttle as well.
Please give us some feedback.
Putting this up as a link instead.

ive tried the new tune and have seen better shifting and better throttle response, but at a light , it idles perfect, like with the r01 version, but about 10 seconds at idle, it flairs up from 500 to 750 rpms, a quick tap on the pedal brings it back down, i put the r01 version back in , and it idles perfect, no flair,
any way to get the improved throttle response and better shifting but keeping the idle steady?
thanks

I have driven the truck some more and I am pretty happy with the shifting. Part throttle shifts are almost perfect at all throttle positions. I told the wife that I had to get the tuner to make the shifting better. I told her that it shifts much smoother now that it doesn't let off anymore. As we got on the highway yesterday at WOT it hit 2nd nice and firm and she looked at me and said sarcastically, "Oh yeah, it is a lot smoother now." I told her that it is at part throttle and should be firmer at WOT. It doesn't tweak the tires on dry roads on the shift, but it is pretty firm.

In the datalog, it looks like the shift takes about .5 seconds and it still pulls out up to 8 degrees of timing on the shift. Does this sound right?

I am going to post another message after I look over the datalogs some more with some performance data, timing, and AFR with the stock vs 93 tune with 1 degree retard. In short, it was not any quicker to 40mph but was quite a bit quicker to 90mph. I did not see the off the line improvements that I was hoping for after seeing one of your dynos of stock vs 87 tune.

I forgot to mention that I think the downshift to 1st needs to be quicker and firmer. I do not notice much difference there, but a 25-30mph punch causing a downshift to 1st was always the best I could get the truck to feel stock. I was hoping it would just be that much better now, but it has a very marginal improvement.

You guys are definitely getting there though. I am hoping that my timing is lower than expected so I can get more gains, but I will need you guys to check a datalog.
