Need some advise......stacking Diablo & Edge EZ?

Post by BluByU »

Hi, I'm planning on stacking my diablo with an edge ez, and I'm just wondering what setting to run? should I use the stack tunes or non stack tunes on the diablo? and which level on the edge ez would be best?

Thanks

If EZ does fuel pressure then i would use the stack tunes.

Does anyone know what the edge ez does?, and is anyone running the same stack? I tried the extreme stack tune and had the ez on level 3 and got a "Delivery fuel error" and "high rail pressure" code. I now have the predator on tow stacker tune and the ez on 3, and it seems to be working fine. Going to try the performance tune later and see how it is.

Thanks again!

I think the ez is pressure only and I've heard it stacks well with the predator, at least on the SOs and 305s. Do you have perf stack on your predator? I can only get perf stack on my 7130 with a custom tune but Diablo has a calid problem to work out on mine before I can use the custom tunes. I have the puck/predator and tow stack is too weak (way too much tq. management) and extreme stack is too crazy... but it sure is a blast! I'm looking forward to the perf stack when the problems are fixed. Craig

I tried the tow stack with the ez on 3 and I still got the same codes, then cleared the codes then put the ez on 2, and had no codes. I found it had great throttle response and made some good power, but found it abit weak for my taste also! !

I have since installed the performance stack, and left the ez on 2 but never really driven the truck to see what would happen. Hopefully everything works out, because I got the EZ for nothing and if not I'm going to get the extreme puck.

Also, is there a certain way to install this stack? Should I remove the predator and return to the oringinal tune, then install the EZ, then reload the predator? Or does it really matter?

Thanks again!
