Dead 2003 LB7

Well I got my U7180 back from getting the update from DS and it downloaded the factory tune fine, so I went to load the 65 HP tune like I used before and it errored during installation, fine it happened before. So now everytime I plug the unit it wants to reload the stock, no big deal (normally). Won't go past 15% and I can no longer start my truck (everything else electrical still works, ie lights and stuff). I tried unplugging (not remove fuses) for my radio, satellite radio, gps and amps and still wont work. I pulled fuses and left everything disconnected still cant get the factory tune to load and now I am screwed, nice update DS. I should have left well enough alone. Now i have a $40,000 paper weight in my driveway. Any luck figuring this one out mods? v. 9R03 just got back from DS. 2003 chevy, silverado 2500 HD. and yes I have my battery charger hooked up with a trickle charge.

Was this the update to the new 9rxx revisions from 1.xx or 2.xx?
Best bet at this point is to call our tech guys.

He is asking if you sent it in for the hardware upgrade, or if it was already a newer tool?

oh I sent it in for the hardware upgrade. the thing you guys just started for 99$ If I remember correctly I had the 1.xx version previously because I bought it in feb of 2007.

I just put the RMA request in Mike, I will overnight the pcm to you you will have it tomorrow. Let me know what you find out once you get it.

Wait before you send it unless you already did... today while working on mine for some odd reason I tried turning the key the accessory position instead of all the way on and the downloader worked for the first time since i've had it, and the truck fired right up. I tried loading a tune using the same method and it also worked, but if i turn the key all the way on to the position where the glow plugs kick in it won't. Hopefully I caught you before you sent it back.

I tried the acc position and it wouldn't even start to load the tune. in the on position it atleast made it to 15% before it kicked me out. Mike was it the ECM or PCM? I hope the ECM because I am on my way to fedex right now, plus according to the manual my truck doesn't have a PCM I think.

ECM, PCM is the same thing, just different names for it.
