Unable to get the tune correct (Kinda Long)
Let me start by saying I have an 04 SRT4 and I love the product. I would also love the 93 octane performance tune if I had a stock car. I have tried it on stock injectors and sensors and the car runs like a dream.
I bought the predator a while back from a 3rd party vendor from the SRTForums, and paid for 2 canned tunes. One for pump gas and one for 114 octane race gas. I have since recieved 4 revisions of my street tune and we can't seem to get it running right at WOT.
Here are the symptoms:
Closed loop - car runs ok, but not nearly as good as stock or the 93 performance tune. It has mild stumbles all over the place including at idle.
WOT - At wot, the car backfires and sounds like an AK47. It will also throw a P0300 code (Misfire on multiple cylinders), if you mash it in 1st gear. The AEM UEGO will read like this in 3rd and 4th. In 1st and 2nd you hit the bad spot too quickly:
2800RPM - 10
3000RPM - 10
3200RPM - 10
3500RPM - 11
4000RPM - 14
4200RPM - 17, --, 16, --, --, -- (-- represents lean off the gauge) 16-17PSI
At this point I get off the throttle because I'm afraid of blowing the motor. During the misfires, the timing advance is at 20 and the KR is at 0 according to my aeroforce scan gauge.
Diagnostics:
I have checked the following-
Plugs - Gapped at .030 less than 50 miles on them (car runs fine on the 93 dsp tune)
Wires - Same as above. Car runs fine with the DSP tune
Coil - Same as above
Fuel pressure holding fine
Injectors - Wasted money on a new set of RC750's (Same Problem)
Now the only different variables between the rage tune and the dsp tune are the injectors, map and tip sensors, and the tune itself.
Here is a list of my relevant mods:
AGP ball bearing 50 trim
RC750's
Ported head
Ported intake manifold
Brian Crower S2 cams
Boomba fuel rail
Boomba 70mm throttle body
AGP return line @ 44PSI with 1:1 attached
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Turbosmart E-Boost 2 (Would like 22-23PSI for street)
Mopar Stage 0 PCM
Mopar 3BAR Map and Tip Sensors (I guess these had to be written in)
I have attached a copy of the last tune written. I am hoping that one of your staff could have a look at the file to see if anything stands out.
Thanks in Advance,
Dave Lee

I could almost guarantee what the problem is... I'll check it out and make some adjustments.

there was something wrong with the tune that Rage made... It was made off of the wrong backup I believe so I made it off his backup and checked everything over and wa-la. All fixed..
