6.0L slipping tranny

Post by lrklyne »

Has anyone had problems with tranny slipping? When i have the tune installed my tranny will slip going into 2nd and 3rd. I am really worried because its a fairly new tranny and dont wanna have to replace it AGAIN.

They all make it slip. Its worse in 100hp. I talked to a tranny guy and he did a scan on my truck and didnt pull any codes. When i spoke to mike i mentioned that the tranny only has 40000 km on it.

3.73 Gears. It doesn't slip with factory tune. I neglected to mention that in the previous posts.

Yeah but the factory tune is also weak in comparison to what the predator puts in.. Where does it slip? Intial? Shifting?

What do you mean where does it slip? It is fine from 1st to 2nd but will slip 2nd to third and 3rd to 4th. And it slips at normal throttle not only when im stompin on it.

I dunno man that seems like it's not getting enough pressure from the front pump.. I could understand at WOT but not at part throttle.
