track tree question

Post by worm »

This may have been answered but im a little curious, how does the trinity or does the tree monitor 1/4 mile time. Would we have to imput things like vehicle curb weight like you have to do in a G-tech unit.

just curious

well, ya ever notice in the data logs, that there's a timestamp in the very first column of the excel csv file??

they probably have it doing something very similar, but stop the time data once you reached 1320 feet or .25 miles, and that would give ya your 1/4 mile time...

I'm sure there's a way to get that distance/mileage info outta the ecm... probably from the mph parameter...

wow, here's a whole bunch of performance calculators I just found:

Distance is calculated by integrating under the vehicle speed curve, nothing fancy there.
