A no program unit
I was wondering if there are any plans to release a dummy unit. One thats main function is to act a a guage and info system. This would be great for pre-customers. The reson i ask is they already make some like that. This would just be a way for loyal followers to carry the name all the way........

good idea!
You know, that sounds like a really good idea.
DS could sell the unit with no tunes in it for less with the option of buying tunes later. I already have a predator, but like the idea of the unit. Could be a way of getting current owners to buy in on the new unit.
A small code could 'lock' the unit so that tunes couldn't be loaded unless some $$ exchange hands.

RE: good idea!
The hardware costs us the same either way, the tunes are a fixed cost.
