same thing happens tho...

I've tune a couple new 08 LS3's with aftermarket exhausts, and they still pop...

I've been able to lessen the pop however in a custom tune... but the guys have told me from the start the their shit pops too...
Yeah, but this guy said that it totally cured it. I find that hard to believe without a tune.....

The 2009 Corvette exhaust pops with the factory NPP system on it and no mods to the exhaust or the car. Just like they said earlier its the nature of the beast.

An exhaust that is more free-flowing with straight-thru mufflers, as the Corsa is, will pop more. I have Flowmaster mufflers, which are chambered, and an H-Pipe, and it still pops. The stock exhuast even popped from time to time. In order to decrease it, the DFCO table needs to be adjusted. Even then, you won't get rid of it completely. In general, the more you free up the exhaust, the more it's gonna pop. It's just the nature of the beast....deal with it.
We have some nice tricks to eliminate the popping, without touching DFCO (kills mileage).

If you are interested, lemme know.
I know this post is old but what do you have in mind? I'm tired of that popping. The car is sleeping right now :D but I would like to do something about that nasty popping.

you need a custom tune... some timing adjustments are in order ;)

I can help/fix that popping issue, plus give you more/better performance to boot...

Monte, will it completely eliminate the popping? I should probably wait to do this when I can drive the vehicle right? Lots of snow here now. Also, will I still be able to play with my LTFTs and so forth like I do now after the custom tune?

Thanks!

Okay, lets do it in a month or two when the weather clears up.

Will there be a performance improvement also?

Thanks again.

The only "trick" I would be interested in would be getting the Traction Control to actually work.
[/quote]

My traction control does not work anymore either on my Sierra truck! You lost traction control too????? I NEED IT!! The damn truck spins tires at every light now, and its a beast in the wet and snow.... Why do we lose traction control??? I really need mine back ASAP!
