2009 corvette support

Post by rpman »

Does anyone know if the U7194 supports the 2009 Corvette yet. I see that the update section has the 9r05a and 9r06 updates. Do these support the 09 vettes and if so what tunes are available? Thanks.

If the tune for the '09 is anything like the '08, the only problem I, along with a couple other '08's have had is sometimes when flashing...we get a lean condition. To fix this, we just re-applied the tune.

Oh great! That is the same as mine. Is it showing up as unsupported when you connect it?

Just about as soon as connected. Most of the first level menus work, but as soon as I select Performance Tune and it prompts for Agree/Disagree on the disclaimer(pressing Agree of course), I get the unsupported error msg.

On the bright side, its seems like the Diag menu might let me clear any codes, if I had any. Although, this is likely just due to support of the OBDII standard.

Ok, so....to confirm, what Johan really NEEDS to know is if the Predator displays the calid on this error message?

The ..... does not really describe the entire error message.

No, there was not a calid displayed in the remaining part of the error message - "..... contact original reseller."

Ok so this is actually one of the newer "locked" gm flashes, we are working on a work around for this.
If you have a buddy that happens to work at the dealer ask him to try to reflash you with the tech2 and i bet you it will not work either, there is an error with the latest flashes from gm where the flash gets locked and nothing can program it.
