I get error message (invalid License)

Post by my05ssr »

Today I decided to load the tune again from my Diablo Sport into my 2005 Chevy SSR and went through all the boot up but this time when I tried to upload a tune I got the message Invalid License. The tune in this vehicle does not match the last tune written, if I look at last tune written it says original tune. This is not the first time I have used the diablo and I have uploaded a tune two time before and restore to the original with no problem the two time, I am able to see real time data on the unit but can not upload a diablo tune or a tune that I did manually. Another thing I notice is when the unit boots up it does not ask me if it is auto or manual (as some of you said it should say) because in the option you can set to default for auto or manual and when I go to the tune screen I see a tune for 91 not 93 and there is no place to change it to 93 which is what I am running in the truck.

Once backup is taken into the unit you will not be asked for trans type anymore. The invalid license issue is something else. Did you have the key in the right position? Thats one thing thats overlooked sometimes. If you still have issues with this give our tech guys a call tomorrow.
