ext puck install issues 06 5.9l cummins 'hit wall"

Post by jmkmlk54 »

after extreme puck was installed, truck started hard, then check eng lite is on. Dealer reprogramed, lite stayed on till next morning. PO191 was error code, dealer ordered new fuel rail pressure sensor. before returning to dealer, i tried one more time. truck failed to start after numerous attempts. looks like the extreme puck is not meant for my 06 ram 2500.

Sounds as if maybe there is a wire on backwards or something improperly connected.

There should be no issues with the fuel pressure sensor.

there are no numbers on this puck. it is red, with the variable speed power selector. the connectors have locking tabs that make connecting improperly nearly impossible. don't know what to do!
