I just got my predator 7137 and wanted to start by installing the USB-Serial cable to my computer. I am running Vista Business. The supplied driver disk with the cable was broken so I started by downloading the file on the Diablo download page for the prolific driver for vista. No Joy, the cable was not recognized. I tried several reinstalls and uninstalls with the same results(no surprise).
Here I found a dedicated driver for the prolific cable and all is well now. Just a heads up for anyone having a problem on Vista.

RE: Vista Driver for USB cable
solved my problem of migrating to a new Dell with Vista,, now if the 09 software for the SRT8 Challenger was ready,,
this kind of info needs to be tacked into the top somwhere. Can the mods maybe start a topic or something to put the sources for all of these drivers.

I also have the 64 bit, and it works for me... wierd.
If your talking about the link not working, then just use the 32bit version of your browser and then you should be fine.. I hate the 64 bit browser on my laptop, there is not even a flash player for it. I just use the 32bit, much easier..
rant over lol
