handling the extreme tune
I have an f250 6.4 and I have the extreme tune installed. The transmission shifts hard at times and makes me a bit weary. Am I hurting the transmission. Also, it is as if the truck can not handle the extreme tune. I have a cool air intake and a 5" catback with 6" tip. With this, should the truck have enough intake and exhaust to truly get the most out of the extreme tune. If I added the puck, I am assuming that I would have to make other modifications.

You can put the puck on there... the tranny will be fine.. I wouldn't turn it all the way up. MAybe 50%-75%

RE: handling the extreme tune
The truck hesitates when I give it full throttle with the extreme tune. I would say that it feels as if something is missing like not enough intake, not enough exhaust, not enough full, etc. It is not the normal hesitation that the vehicle has to begin with, it is something else. That is why I ask about the truck being able to handle the extreme tune.

If you stomp on it from a stop then that's natural... It's commanding a lot of injector pressure and boost then... If you roll into it the truck will be more responsive.
