hey guys, having a little problem with the 93 perf tune for stage one. Hopefully i am just missing something.

I ran the stage one pcm, stage two wga, spiking 19 holding 16/15 to redline and had a/f ratios lower than 12.0 in all gears. Now with the predator tune Pretty much all gears are higher (12.4-12.9). added fuel over and over again on the predator and am not seeing the afr's get any lower. People are telling me the stage one injectors might be maxed out but I was hoping someone could explain why the stock injectors supplied enough fuel for same boost before, and now cannot with the diablo. Don't really wanna run the car with the afrs that high and run the risk of popping the motor.

Thanks in advance for the help, Diablo.

needs custom tune or you had something else wrong.. Like I said in on other forum, all I had was a needwings DP, which was closed and I put down 263Hp and 311Tq after the 93 tune..

Too concerned with peak numbers. Did you dyno it before the predator? What is the comparison?

agreed. unless you have before and after comparison; it's pointless. personally, unless i'm testing for specific gains, i don't care what the dyno reads. so long as the vehicle is performing the way i choose....

I'm getting increasingly interested in this Diablo. I've heard nothing but good about it. Couple of quick questions though...

Does the unit come with 91 or 93 octane tuning regardless of where I buy it or do I have to order the specific model made for srt4? If so, will it NOT work on my other vehicles if I decide to restore my srt4 to stock and tune another for a road trip? More specifically between the srt4 and a 2000 chevy blazer and malibu. I understand that i would only be able to have one car tuned at a time but will it work for anything?

Also, will this unit replace my scangaugeII that I use on trips for mpg and to monitor knock retard, fuel trim, etc?

And finally, can it display air/fuel or does it only do this in the datalog mode so that you cannot monitor while you drive?

The tune that it comes with is made for 91+
It's specific for the SRT4 and PT cruiser so no, it will not work on anything else. It will reset once you program your car back to stock. It will do the same things as the scangauge although it will not datalog AFR (wideband) just commanded. The scangauge is easier to have on the dash so I would leave it there.

Sup guys, i have a little question to ask and i'm looking to see if you guys can help. I have an AGP wastegate with an 18lb spring. Should i run the wastegate through PCM control and lower/ raise the boost with the Predator or should i run it through the turbo and play with the boost with the gastegate?

your 25psi spike is becuz of your 3" turbo back exhaust, no cat right?

93 tune is meant for a stock car with stock cat and exhaust, u need to get a CMR custom tune to account for the exhaust. i know becuz i have no cat now and if i use 93 tune will make my car boost pass 25psi.

By his description it sounds like he has the same setup as I do, and I get the same results.

I have a 2005 SRT4 with Stage 2 w/o Toys, Mopar CAI, and Mopar Cat-back exhaust with the stock CAT installed.

Since I first purchased my Predator this year in Feb I could make my boost spike well past 20 PSI, especially in 3rd gear during WOT using the supplied 93 Oct tune.

I've installed the latest CMR update and the situation still exists. Because of this, I generally don't run the 93 Tune for fear of going to lean. I have a canned tune supplied by Nemo out of RageTek that has been tuned for the setup listed and California 91 Oct fuel. Running that tune results in a safer (mentally at least) 17 or 18 spike under the same conditions.

I don't know why the 93 Oct Tune spikes so high, but I'm not convinced it's due to absence of a CAT. That's certainly not true in my case.
