By his description it sounds like he has the same setup as I do, and I get the same results.
I have a 2005 SRT4 with Stage 2 w/o Toys, Mopar CAI, and Mopar Cat-back exhaust with the stock CAT installed.
Since I first purchased my Predator this year in Feb I could make my boost spike well past 20 PSI, especially in 3rd gear during WOT using the supplied 93 Oct tune.
I've installed the latest CMR update and the situation still exists. Because of this, I generally don't run the 93 Tune for fear of going to lean. I have a canned tune supplied by Nemo out of RageTek that has been tuned for the setup listed and California 91 Oct fuel. Running that tune results in a safer (mentally at least) 17 or 18 spike under the same conditions.
I don't know why the 93 Oct Tune spikes so high, but I'm not convinced it's due to absence of a CAT. That's certainly not true in my case.

your 25psi spike is becuz of your 3" turbo back exhaust, no cat right?
93 tune is meant for a stock car with stock cat and exhaust, u need to get a CMR custom tune to account for the exhaust. i know becuz i have no cat now and if i use 93 tune will make my car boost pass 25psi.
