Speed Limiter Help

I have the u7153 predator and i just updated it with the new revision update and i go in my rev limits and my speed limits and there is no speed limit section to turn it off anymore.. How do i turn my speed limiter off? My truck is a ford 2002 f-150 2wd with the 4.6L V8..

I hope they are able to help you. I have been waiting and still have not had any help on this same problem with the same unit.

Glad to see there are others out there besides me. I thought I was one of the rare one's with this problem. My 99 F150 5.4l has the need for more speed!

yeah for some reason under the rev and speed limits there is no speed limit option its gone... And i wanna shut it off cuz its embrassing getting passed by little 4 cylinder cars when your racing to somewhere.. lol

I agree. I got this unit for this reason and it does not have the option. I cannot even correct the speed odometer.

We are working on an update for this Predator right now that will restore these parameters along with all new tunes.

yep i agree with you too i have my axle ratio set at 3.54 as i was told even tho i have 3.55 gears. But its still 4mph off i checked it with a gps..

This is a very large update and will take some time. It is happening but I can't give an eta because of the amount of work we are going to put into it. For now if you guys want your speed limiters shut off post up your current tunes and we can do it for you. You will need to go into options, troubleshooting and read extra tune. Then hook up the Predator to DSDownloader and from the custom tune menu, export extra tune, then post it up here...

U7153 Revision 9 2003 F150 Screw 5.4l CAI/ 3" Magnaflow Catback SI/So Front of Wheel...

I am new and saw the Speed Limiter post about tune to remove. I would like a tune to remove it, Firmest shifts 1-4, 91 octane, Cai, 3" Magnaflow catback, 3.55 gears, best perfomance tune with this info please...

well i'm trying to get my tune from my tool to post it up here and its not letting me do it? Sorry i'm new to all this stuff.. I went to get tune file from tool is that correct? Well if it is it didn't work so give me steps on how to do this because i've had troubles messing with this and i'm new at it... When i get the tune uploaded i'll post up what i want done to it... Help please!

Hey TYMON,


You will need to Connect to the truck and go into options, troubleshooting and read extra tune. Then hook up the Predator to DSDownloader and from the custom tune menu on the predator, export extra tune, then Remember where you saved it to on your PC. Post it up here by adding the extra tune the attachment.
