I am wondering where I can get my Diablo chip reburned. I bought it from a guy who had the exact same truck as me. But I guess our computers are different. It is a 2001 F-250 7.3L diesel. It is a one bank chip. I installed it but my truck would not start. I have the computer info for my truck. I am just having a hard time finding anyone in my area to do it. Is it possible to send it back to diablo and have it redone for me?
Any help would be great.
Thanks!

same issue for me
if someone answers, i have basically the same problem. i bought the truck with the chip already in it, the other day my pcm went out and i had to replace it with one of a differnet code. now my chip wont work, i called my local dealer and he says he cant do anything with it....can someone point me to someone who can? i was perfectly satisfied with what it gave me and do not want to upgrade to anything else right now.
truck,
2000 f350 with pcm code of nvk4, changed pcm to nvk5
chip - all i can tell you is that it is the little horny red chip that has "rev 3.1" and "2/01kk" printed on the board
JSLOW, what code is your PCM?

RE: same issue for me
My Pcm Code is PMT2. The code listed on the chip is PMT1. It also has TOW.CRY 6-17-02 written on it. That must be the program? My chip says Rev 3.1 also.
Hopefully someone can help us out. I am just looking for better mileage and some power.

Guys, use the dealer locator from the 'where to buy' tab above to find a dealer in your area or try PDI at 305 218 1486.
Thanks

mike, i called 2 dealers locally and they said they could do something with a programmer but had no clue as how to re-burn a chip....1 guy at a truck center said "what does re-burn mean?" and then proceeded to tell me that my chip was not a diablo because "they" dont make a chip they make a programmer....makes me wonder about these ppl

a little more info off the chip
it has a sticker on the big chip that says "4 bank". then turn it over, up near where it has the website, the letter's "et" are printed on there in dark ink, then down on the bottom it has the letters "pf or PP, written in ink pen. just hard to tell if it is a p or an f. maybe it is time to toss it and buy something new but i hate to since i was satisfied with it the way it was.
