Help. I have a 1999 Corvette and I just got my Predator. I followed the instructions and downloaded my stock tune. After that I went to install the performance tune and it came back with script error. I also have a lot of error messages on the DIC. Car starts and runs but I have all these errors. What happened? Can I delete the messages or is there actually a problem with everything now until I can upload the performance tune. What could be wrong.
It mentions that you need to have everything off to upload the tune, but when you turn on the ignition (engine off) there is a drain on the battery. says 11 volts on the guage. So I am confused with that. Would that have anything to do with a script error? Please help. Want to get rid of all these messages and get this back in shape.
Thanks.

RE: U7198 Script error
Yes, a script error is often caused by a low voltage situation.
Make sure there is nothing drawing voltage, and if there is, track it down and eliminate it.
Try hooking up a battery charger to the car and setting it to a 2 amp trickle draw and try tuning like that.
This will help to ensure the voltage will stay up during the flashing process.
Thanks

Thanks. That was it. Battery was a little low. Let the car run for a bit and did it again. Worked. Thanks.mikel wrote:Yes, a script error is often caused by a low voltage situation.
