2008 F350 Super Duty 6.4L U7164

I have a new 2008 F350 6.4L Diesel. I had a 05 F250 6.0L using the Predator U7165 and I loved it.
Can I update or exchange the U7165 for a U7164 for my new Truck?
The manufactor says that any tuners that are connected with be entered into the trucks computer system and nulify the warrenty. Does the U7164 correct this or make it so it doesn't show up on the computer?

I would really love to get the U7164 for it but I am hesitant to do so because of the warrenty.
