u7164 ? Looking for new Update

hey i was just wondering if anyone has any idea when new update will be out for 2008 6.4 Diesel trucks as my tuner will not work with new updates from ford installed...

We are working on it, there's a 6.4 on the dyno right now...

Go to options>troublshooting>show calid and post what it says... I want to be sure I'm not missing anyone.

Any estimate yet? My programmer has been ineffective for over two weeks. Don't get me wrong, I want you guys to test, but the latest Ford program is not good. Just checkin'...Thanks, John

The updated ford program has taken all power away from engine. makes trans shift at higher rpm . killed fuel milage, went from 19-20 on the highway,now down to 14-15 even driving like an old lady. the lack of throttle response is back,and not just the lag.

if i had known that the factory update was going to take out my tunner, i would have waited. just plain sucks !

On another note, I am a new member of the Diablo user guys, and just want to let you guys know ,from the forums i have read,and the quick turn around in questions, You guys are doing alright!!! Just dont keep me hanging on 08 ford update......

I'm testing it as we speak... just not all ready to have field testing yet. Mainly because it only has one tune and no parameters currently.

pic350ford pretty much summed it up. Apparently, Ford did not test the update or no longer cares about performance. I too wish I could turn back the clock on the latest Ford update. Many updated trucks are running like crap and that is why we are jones'ing for your programs! I learned my lesson about letting Ford reprogram. Good luck, John.
