i have an 01' f-350 7.3L with afe intake and exhaust. what tune can i use or which will be the best. i just inherited the chip from my cousin. can anyone help? thanks

You may use whichever you like... what is it you are trying to achieve? What revision is on the predator? When you plug in the tool it will be at the top right hand corner something like 9r05

well i just want to add the horsepower. i was told to use the u7170 tune which is fine i just dont know how to get that tune to the chip. the chip came off of an 01' 7.3L but it was a standard transmission and mine is automatic. plus i dont have the predator. i took it to a guy who said he can put the tune on the chip but he cant find the code. so im not sure if he has a predator or what. i think he does. does that make sense?

OK, this is a chip, and it will need to be reflashed for your truck.

They should not have a problem fining a tune for your truck.
